I am deeply grateful and excited to announce that the Zenthai Shiatsu Training, created by Gwyn Williams, is coming to the Netherlands — hosted by The Human Fabrique and led by the wonderful Blanche Marion.
As its founder Gwyn Williams describes it:
“Zenthai Flow is best described as movement-based therapy, based around the five events of Chinese medicine. The free flowing asana flow involves vitalising the meridians or energy lines of the body, with the intention of supporting overall wellbeing and dealing with existing imbalances. Yogic and Zen philosophies are weaved throughout the classes, offering a refreshing lens of perception to quieten the mind, direct attention and to embody a more sincere, contributive and harmonious daily life.”
Blanche de Marion, certified Zenthai Shiatsu therapist, has been assisting Gwyn in his trainings across Europe since 2018. Trained in Australia, she returned to Europe to share this unique approach. She has already trained dozens of students and offers a powerful, grounded, and deeply human way of teaching. With kindness, precision, and contagious energy, she will guide you step by step through the practice.
At The Human Fabrique, both Level 1 and Level 2 Zenthai Shiatsu trainings are offered. You don’t need to complete both levels. With Level 1 you already have a solid foundation to start sharing this practice. Level 2 marks the beginning of the full Therapy Training, for those who wish to deepen their knowledge and hands-on experience.
This four-day foundation training offers an immersive introduction to the healing art of Zenthai Shiatsu — a holistic, movement-based therapy that blends Traditional Thai Massage, Zen Shiatsu, and Osteopathic techniques into one fluid practice guided by mindful presence.
These four days invite you to slow down, connect, and explore the five elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine through movement, touch, and awareness. You’ll learn a complete 90-minute Zenthai sequence, designed to bring freedom and balance to both the structural and energetic body.
Beyond technique, this experience is a journey of personal transformation — a space to reconnect with yourself, deepen your understanding of conscious touch, and grow within a supportive community. Whether you are a therapist, yoga teacher, movement practitioner, or simply curious about the healing arts, this training offers a grounded and heart-centered foundation on the path of Zenthai Shiatsu.

A life dedicated to travel, movement, and transmission
I was 19 when I first hit the road. Leaving behind everything that was familiar, everything that shaped my world. We often believe that our way of loving, walking, thinking, or dancing is the right one.
That our reference points are universal.
But staying in one place means risking forgetting that there are a thousand ways to be in the world.
So I left. Far. As far as I could go.
Australia — the antipode. And after that, I never stopped.
From Morocco to Europe, from South America to North America, from India to Southeast Asia, passing through Indonesia,
I walked on unknown lands, spoke languages I didn’t yet understand,
Drank herbal teas whose names I didn’t know,
Listened to prayers whispered in the depth of the night.
Each country opened a door within me.
In their wake, I discovered ancient medicines, silent wisdoms,
Yoga, tai chi, meditation…
Another language of body and breath,
Far more precious than all those years spent on school benches.
It was the school of life.
I learned that there are a thousand ways to love, to pray, to greet the morning, and to bow to the night.
That the world is much vaster than my own existence,
And that it’s within that vastness the heart truly unfolds.
I know that peace is found within,
That one doesn’t need to leave to feel whole,
Yet every journey opens windows,
And plants stories we carry within us forever.
Since then, in my pockets, there are pieces of elsewhere,
Glimpses exchanged under unknown skies,
And the gentle certainty that truth and beauty are never far
From those who dare to leave.
And above all, from those who return transformed.
Today, it’s my turn to share.
Yoga retreats, trainings…
They are simply invitations to journey.
Bridges toward everything that has settled within me over the years.
Because some journeys are taken with closed eyes,
On a yoga mat, on a futon..
And others, with bare feet rooted in foreign soil.
Ready to embark?

From the bus stops Rusterburgerlaan or Europaweg/Schipholweg, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the studio. Follow Henk van Turnhoutpad all the way to the end, go through the gate, and you’ll find the first green building on your left — just past the big building of Sportsupport.
