By Angie de Feber & Gemma Noguer
As the days become shorter and the season begins to shift, we invite you to pause, slow down and make space for yourself, to step into autumn with intention.
Join Angie & Gemma on Sunday 25th of October for a nourishing afternoon of movement, connection, good food and deep relaxation at The Human Fabrique.
This retreat is an invitation to take care of yourself, were personal attention and touch are key.
If you’re looking to reconnect with your body, release tension, quiet your mind or just give yourself a few hours away from the everyday, this afternoon is for you.
We’ll begin with a Pilates practice, followed by a delicious homemade brunch and a short walk outside.
Returning back to the studio for a Yin Yoga and meditation.
During the final relaxation, you’ll be able to fully let go while receiving nourishing elements of Zenthai Shiatsu.
Giving body and mind time to soften, restore and simply be.
Throughout the practices, we’ll offer personalised, hands-on assist and touch to support you in exploring movement and postures more deeply.
*All touch is optional and always offered with your consent.
12:00–12:15 | Arrival & welcome
Take a moment to arrive, settle into the studio and leave the outside world behind. We begin the afternoon together with a warm welcome and an introduction to the retreat.
12:15–13:15 | Pilates Practice
We start with an energising and mindful Pilates Practice focused on strength, stability, control and body awareness. Through intentional movement, clear guidance and personal hands-on adjustments, you are invited to explore how your body moves and build a strong connection from within.
13:15–14:00 | Homemade organice lunch & autumn walk
After the Pilates Practice, we gather around the table for a nourishing homemade organic lunch with banana bread, carrot cake, fresh bread, cheese, spreads, soup, raw vegetables and more.
We finish this break with a short autumn walk outside, a moment to breathe, connect and allow the practice to settle before moving into stillness.
14:00–15:30 | Yin Yoga, meditation & Zenthai Shiatsu
During the second part of the retreat, we slow down with a grounding Yin Yoga Practice. In the longer-held postures, conscious breathing and meditation, you are invited to soften, release tension and turn your attention inward.
During the final relaxation, nourishing elements of Zenthai Shiatsu will help you let go more deeply and fully receive the benefits of the afternoon.
15:30 | Closing & goodiebag
We close the retreat together, leaving you feeling grounded, open and reconnected. Before heading home, you’ll receive a goodiebag as a reminder to carry the feeling of the retreat into the new season.
All hands-on adjustments and touch are optional and offered with consent.
Meet your hosts
" I’m Gemma a Spanish Pilates and yoga teacher based in Haarlem.
I’m passionate about movement in all its forms.
For me, movement is about much more than exercise.
It’s a way to connect with yourself, feel good and take time out of your day to care for yourself.
What I love the most about teaching is the connection with people.
Creating a space where they can feel good in their bodies, switch off from the outside world and leave the class feeling a little better than when they arrived.
I love helping people become more aware of their bodies and posture. Seeing them improve in their practice, knowing that will impact their daily life as well.
At the same time, I enjoy challenging my students and encouraging them to discover what they are capable of. Looking forward to spend some time together🤍"

" I’m Angie, founder of The Human Fabrique and a movement educator based in Haarlem. Movement has been at the heart of my life and work for over 20 years.
My journey started with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Physical Education. Since then, I have trained in Pilates, yoga, personal training and Zenthai Shiatsu. Alongside teaching at The Human Fabrique, I teach Functional Training and movement-related subjects within a Bachelor’s programme in Sport Science.
For me, movement is a way to become more aware of your body, explore what you are capable of and reconnect with yourself. I love bringing strength and softness together, combining clear guidance and technique with curiosity, creativity and personal attention.
What I value most is creating a safe space where people feel seen and supported. Through hands-on adjustments and nourishing touch, I help students experience movement and stillness more deeply.
During this retreat, I look forward to guiding you from active movement into softness and relaxation—and creating a moment where you can slow down, receive and reconnect with yourself." 🤍
